MOMA - Line Lab family discovery room (February 2009)

This small space has several activities that explore line in a variety of ways. I was there after hours after all of the materials had been reset for the day. There was a table with chairs in the center of the room and pads to sit on the floor with. In talking with staff, when there is a staff member present to facilitate activities, families tend to stay longer and make connections between the various activities.

Painting lines with a "Buddha Board", which uses water as paint and then dissappears as the water evaporates off the board.
