The large Y-shaped tree branch that fell on the house
The branch had fallen from about 20 feet up, and managed to wedge itself between the main trunk and the supporting branch in the photo, plus resting on the house and blocking the driveway.

A squirrel with a Dove chocolate that he stole from our mail!
A few days ago, we received a package in the mail from my parents with Halloween candy in it. The mailman put it near some pumpkins we"ve set out front for the squirrels to eat, and the squirrels must"ve gotten a little excited and went after the package too.
It appeared that they had merely chewed through the envelope and not gotten anything out, but it seems they managed to liberate one of the Dove chocolates that was in there.
